Tanner, a Newman, California native, and former junior college, NCAA collegiate, and former professional athlete, transitioned to full time coaching in 2018. Tanner takes an athlete-centered approach, emphasizing individuality, strong coach-athlete relationships, and the strategic use of technology to drive development and long-term success. Tanner's coaching philosophy adopts an ecological perspective, emphasizing the interconnected nature of movement.
