Opening in Fall 2025, MASH Academy is an innovative sports academy integrating academics, sport-specific training, and high-performance development. It provides student-athletes in grades 6-12 with a structured schedule that includes online learning through Minnesota Virtual Academy (MNVA), athletic coaching, and strength and conditioning training at MASH Campus.
How does the academic program work?
Academics are delivered through Minnesota Virtual Academy (MNVA), an accredited online school serving students in Minnesota. MNVA provides individualized instruction from MN-licensed teachers, a semester-based curriculum with assigned due dates, online class connect sessions for group instruction, and required Minnesota state testing compliance. All students will receive the same resources provided to students attending in-person public school in Minnesota.
MASH Academy provides a Learning Coach to support students on-site to help with organization, time management, and coursework. This Learning Coach will act as a liaison between families, teachers, and MASH, making the experience seamless. Our target Learning Coach to Student ratio is 15:1 at the middle school level and 22:1 at the high school level.
Schedule
MASH Academy will follow a typical school calendar. We will provide between 160-170 days of on-site learning between September 1 and June 1 annually.
